Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a directly related field supplemented by three years of progressively responsible environmental engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, provided that the minimum degree requirement is met.
A valid State of Illinois Driver's License is required. Professional Geologist/Professional Engineer certification
Environmental engineering project management experience
Experience working with government agencies or projects
Experience with Site Remediation Program and Tiered Approach to Corrective Action Objectives (TACO)
Environmental assessment and remediation experience
Grant management experience
24 - 40 hour OSHA Training certificate
NEPA compliance experience.
