The Health and Wellness Administrative Assistant is responsible for enhancing the overall Resident experience through exceptional comprehensive leadership through creating a schedule for the Health and Wellness department that meets the needs of our residents. Responsible for establishing and sustaining a culture of unparalleled service and long-term growth through supporting the Health and Wellness team in an administrative and clinical role. This is to be handled in The Sterling Touch friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner, resulting in a very high level of Resident satisfaction. This position is under the general guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness in accordance with Community standards, processes, procedures, practices and philosophy. Essential Functions:
Participate in Start Sterling! line up every day.
Greet the Residents, guests, fellow employees and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
Responsible for scheduling the Health and Wellness team members for department coverage.
Ensure orientation and training checklists have been completed in a timely manner for General Orientation, Sterling Touch, Adult Abuse, and for all other required training.
Work closely with other Health and Wellness leaders.
Support i. Cloud Storage scanning, uploading and ensuring organized filing in cloud.
Operate office equipment including phone, copy machine, computer, fax, etc.
Maintain clinical supplies and order supplies when necessary.
Provide floor coverage which may require medi pass and A. D. L. 's occasionally.
May have other functions as necessary and as assigned by Supervisor. Education:
High School Diploma of G. E. D. , required. Licenses/Certificates:
Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred.
Medication Technician, preferred. Experience:
Administrative Assistant experience in a healthcare environment, required.
Experience creating schedules for healthcare and/or clinical staff, highly preferred.
Previous experience in a Senior Living environment, preferred. Scheduled:
Must have flexibility to support the department and cover open shifts.
Must be able to work occasional rotating weekends and holidays.
