RESPONSIBILITIESESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilizes the nursing process which includes patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing care plans, implementing interventions and evaluation of patient status in relationship to the above.
Executes regimen prescribed by the provider with nursing practice guidelines and always works with safety as a priority.
Performs and/or supervises activities and functions which require knowledge and skill level and currently ascribed to the registered nurse and seeks assistance when these are beyond the registered nurse's scope of practice.
Provides leadership and direction in the supervision of others in carrying out the nursing process.
Displays professionalism while interacting with patients, families, visitors and staff in a manner that reflects our core values and cultural beliefs.
Participates in quality improvement activities and audits documentation as required and requested.
Other duties as requested or assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONSMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education for Staff Job Levels
Associate's degree or higher, from a credentialed school of nursing
REQUIRED LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Current RN license, Certification in BLS prior to first day of work and, ACLS and Mandatory reporter within first 3 months of employment.
