Responsibilities:
Knowledge in use of basic mechanics tools.
General knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance (brakes, wheels, clutches, drive lines, etc. )
Truck and trailer preventative maintenance skills.
HVAC diagnostics and repair.
ABS diagnostics and repair.
Air-brake diagnostics and repair.
Electrical system diagnostics and repair.
Experience with welding and cutting touch.
Some tire knowledge.
Must be able to work as an individual contributor.
Keep a clean and safe working environment.
Report any discrepancies or damages.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
Basic computer and end-user software skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Other duties as directed or assigned. Qualifications:
High school diploma or G. E. D.
Class A or B CDL License preferred.
Experience in fleet maintenance preferred.
Able to communicate issues and understand job assignments.
Able to prioritize work assignments. Physical Requirements:
Able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch on a regular basis or for long periods of time.
Able to climb staircases.
Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
